Job summary
Cox Fleet is seeking a Shop Diesel Technician II to support maintenance for a wide range of trucks and trailers. You will perform DOT and preventative maintenance inspections, light to heavy repairs, and advanced diagnostics under supervision, with opportunities to advance technical skills.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ related experience, or 5 years in a related field.
- Must pass DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.
- ASE certifications preferred within 18 months (e.g., ASE T8).
Responsibilities
- Perform licensed DOT inspections and preventative maintenance inspections.
- Carry out light, medium and heavy-duty repairs as directed.
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools.
- Maintain safety, organize tools, and document work on RO in the Karmak system.
- Travel to customer locations as needed to complete service tasks.
