Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC (MHC) is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership network and leasing group. We seek a Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic to perform heavy-duty mechanical repair under supervision, with on-the-job training to achieve Service Journeyman status.

You will work on engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes and related components, gaining experience under supervision while attending training sessions and

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum three years hands-on experience or graduate of vocational courses.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general mechanical duties and assists in major repairs.
• Gains experience on engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis and brakes.
• Performs trouble shooting on minor problems and attends training sessions.
