Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing organization. We are hiring a Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic to perform heavy-duty mechanical repairs under supervision, with on-the-job training toward Service Journeyman status.

The role involves engine, fuel, electrical, and transmission work, adherence to safety practices, and participation in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Three years hands-on experience or graduate of vocational courses.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical duties and assist as needed.
• Work on engine, fuel, electrical, transmissions, cooling, chassis, brakes, and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor problems and advise on needed repairs.
• Attend training sessions and meetings; maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Follow safety practices and use appropriate safety equipment.
