Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is the leading Kenworth truck dealership group in North America. We are hiring a Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic at MHC Kenworth-Nashville to perform heavy-duty mechanical repair and participate in a development program toward Service Journeyman status.

You will work on engines, fuel and electrical systems, transmissions, brakes, and related components, with on-the-job training and safety-focused practices in a shop environment.

Formación

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum three years hands-on experience or graduate of vocational courses.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.
• Necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Performs general mechanical duties and repairs under supervision.
• Gains experience on engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, brakes.
• Troubleshoots minor problems and participates in training sessions.
• Maintains tidy work area and proper use of company tools.
• Advises Shop Foreman on additional repair needs.
• Follows safety procedures and assists with task completion.
