The role performs heavy-duty mechanical repair under general supervision, with on-the-job training to achieve Service Journeyman status. Responsibilities include engine overhaul, fuel and electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, engine tune-up, and general maintenance, with

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum three years hands-on experience or vocational training.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.
• Necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs general mechanical duties and assists in major repairs.
• Troubleshoots minor problems and supports lead technician.
• Attends training sessions and maintains a neat, safe work area.
• Advises Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
