Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group. We are hiring a Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic to perform heavy‑duty mechanical repair under supervision and participate in a development program to achieve Service Journeyman status.

The role includes engine, fuel, electrical, and transmission work, with on‑the‑job training and opportunities for advancement within a safety‑minded team.

Formación

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum three years hands-on experience or graduate of vocational courses.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs and assists in the performance of general mechanical duties.
• Gains experience by working on engine overhaul, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, engine tune‑up, and general maintenance.
• Works on major components with close supervision.
• Performs trouble shooting on minor problems.
• Attends training sessions and meetings.
• Maintains a neat and orderly working area, and proper handling of company tools.
• Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Follows safe work practices and procedures, uses safety equipment when required, responds to suggestions for working safely and seeks assistance when necessary.
