Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group. We seek a Diesel Service Technician/Mechanic to perform heavy-duty mechanical repairs under supervision, with development training to achieve Service Journeyman status.

You will work on engines, fuel and electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, brakes, and chassis, maintaining safety and cleanliness, attending training sessions, and advising on additional repairs when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years hands-on diesel experience.
• AC, brake, and DOT annual inspector certifications required.
• Must own necessary tools to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical duties and major component repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and perform engine, fuel, electrical work.
• Attend training and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Advise supervisor of additional repair needs.
• Follow safety procedures and use equipment properly.
