Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking diesel truck technicians to diagnose and repair refuse trucks.

Starting pay ranges from $30 to $40 per hour, with paid training and two shift options: 5am–3pm (experience required) or 2pm–10pm (entry level accepted). Responsibilities include daily inspections, diagnosing issues, repairing hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO, and other truck components; performing preventative maintenance to keep fleet ready for daily operation.

Qualifications

• EXP required for first shift: 5am-3pm.
• Entry level accepted for second shift: 2pm-10pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Job description

Starting Pay: $30-$40/hr. More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift: 2 Options.

• 5am-3pm M-F (EXP Required For This Shift)
• 2pm-10pm M-F. (Entry Level/Intermediate Exp Fine)
