Job summary

GFL - Sewer Technologies Division in the United States is seeking a Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel refuse trucks. You will troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO, and other truck components to keep fleet operations safe and dependable.

Starting pay is $28-$40/hr, with additional pay for experience and certifications. Shift is 12pm–10pm, Mon–Fri, with overtime after 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
