Job summary
GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Diesel Refuse Truck Technician to perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, and complete repairs on our refuse fleet.
You will troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO, and other components to keep trucks operating safely.
Starting pay is $30–$40 per hour with additional pay for ASE certifications; overtime after 40 hours and comprehensive benefits after probation.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
- Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
- Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
Job description
Starting Pay: $30 to $40 per hour. More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.
We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .25 bump per T Series ASE.
3pm-130am M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked.
