Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a diesel truck and equipment mechanic to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company-owned or leased heavy-duty trucks and rolling stock, ensuring safe operation.

Starting pay is $25-$30 per hour, with additional pay based on experience and certifications. The shift is 2pm to 12am, Monday to Friday, with overtime after 40 hours. Benefits include PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, health benefits after 60 days, and 401K after 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.
Starting Shift: 2pm-12am M-F. OT after 40hrs worked!
