Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a diesel truck technician in Augusta, GA to inspect, diagnose, and repair refuse trucks to keep the fleet safe and reliable. The role includes hands-on troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical, and braking systems, with emphasis on preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The position offers daytime hours (6am-4pm), with overtime after 40 hours. Benefits begin after 60 days, plus PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, and 401K after six months.

Qualifications

• Perform daily inspections and diagnose issues on diesel refuse trucks.
• Troubleshoot problems and complete repairs to keep fleet running safely.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure daily operation.

• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
