Job summary

GFL - Sewer Technologies Division is hiring a diesel truck mechanic to perform inspections, diagnose issues, and repair refuse trucks for reliable daily operation.

Responsibilities include repairing hydraulic/electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and conducting preventative maintenance to ensure fleet readiness. Starting pay ranges with opportunity for advancement are provided with standard benefits and overtime eligibility.

Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Job description

Starting Pay: $28-$33/hr

More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift: 12pm start time. Expect 8-10hr shifts. M-F. OT after 40hrs
