Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking skilled diesel truck technicians to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company-owned and leased heavy‑duty trucks and equipment. Starting pay is $25-$35 per hour, with additional pay based on experience and certifications.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is paid in two installments. Shift is 2pm–12:30am, Monday through Friday, with overtime after 40 hours. Benefits include PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, health benefits after 60 days, and a 401(k) plan

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Job description

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely

Starting Pay: $25-$35/hrMore pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift: 2pm-1230am M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked
