Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled diesel truck mechanic to safely operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain company-owned or leased heavy-duty diesel trucks and rolling stock. The role focuses on diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring daily operation through preventative maintenance.

The position offers a 2pm–12:30am shift, with overtime after 40 hours and competitive starting pay. Starting pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus to be paid in two

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation

Starting Pay: $25-$35/hrMore pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.Sign On Bonus! $5,000 paid in 2 installments
