GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain our heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment, ensuring daily operational readiness.

The role includes diagnosing issues and performing repairs on refuse trucks with focus on hydraulic, electrical, brakes, and suspension systems. Starting pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour with two shift options and overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot diesel refuse trucks.
• Familiar with hydraulic, electrical, brakes and suspension systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely

Starting Pay

Starting Pay: $25-$35/hrMore pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Starting Shift

Starting Shift: 2 options. Flexible start times1) 430am-2pm M-F. OT after 40hrs worked.2) 1130am-9pm M-F. OT after 40hrs worked.
