GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a diesel technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair refuse trucks to keep our fleet safe and on the road.

You will work on hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTOs, and other components, performing preventive maintenance as required. Starting pay ranges from $25 to $33 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours and a first shift from 12pm to 10pm, on-site in Bay City, Texas.

Qualificações

• Perform daily inspections and diagnostics on diesel refuse trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep fleet vehicles operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet readiness.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel refuse trucks.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTOs and other components.
• Ensure fleet vehicles are safe and reliable through preventive maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance needs to minimize downtime.

Starting Pay

$25 to $33 per hour. More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Starting Shift

12pm-10pm M-F. Immediate OT after 40 hours worked!

Every 3rd Saturday will be on call.
