Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electric systems, and HVAC components.

You will work under supervision, with opportunities to learn new technologies while supporting drivers on routes with state-of-the-art fleet. The role covers preventive maintenance, basic engine work, brake systems, suspension, and drive train.

Formación

• Able to diagnose multi-system issues.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• Experience with maintenance on Classes 1-5 trucks, and heavy-duty Class 7-8 vehicles.
• ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair vehicle components and systems on-site and on the road.
• Repair chassis components and refuse bodies (hydraulic/electrical systems; air/hydraulic brakes).
• Perform light engine repair, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain, and steering work.
• Weld and fabricate as needed and provide safe road service when required.
• Complete training programs and perform other duties as assigned.

Accredited automotive college/technical school in next 3 months
