Job summary

North American Transportation Management Institute is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician for second shift to ensure safe, reliable fleet operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across engines, electrical and refrigeration systems to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.

The role requires experience with heavy trucks, adherence to DOT regulations, and the ability to mentor junior staff. Excellent benefits and a boot/ tool allowance are provided.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
CDL preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
Conduct annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles per regulations.
Perform repairs to engines, transmissions, driveline, electrical, HVAC, and other systems.
Diagnose malfunctions and repair to manufacturer specifications.
Document work on work orders and mentor junior technicians.
