Job summary

North American Transportation Management Institute is seeking an experienced Fleet Technician for 3rd shift in Louisville, KY. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet to maximize safety and reliability.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, DOT/OSHA regs, and ASE/EPA certifications is preferred. Tools are provided; you supply your own basic diagnostics equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience in medium/heavy-duty truck maintenance is essential.
• ASE certifications and EPA 608/609 are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs per manufacturer specs.
• Address DVIR write ups timely and efficiently.
• Mentor junior Fleet Technicians and may supervise in absence of managers.
• Perform electrical, welding, and refrigeration related repairs as needed.
