Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year heavy-duty truck technical training required.
• Either 1 year experience with 2-year degree or 3 years experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
• ASE Certification, Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty.
• Current CDL-A preferred.
• Annual Inspector Certification Knowledge Skills and Abilities.
• Brake Inspector Certification Knowledge Skills and Abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment to maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Perform maintenance repairs on vehicles including engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, and other systems.
• Document all work on Work Order (SAP) using Complaint, Cause, and Correction format.
• Learn and develop efficiency in all maintenance-related Sysco computer programs.
