Job summary

Sysco Lincoln is seeking a Diesel Fleet Mechanic Technician II to provide safe, reliable vehicle maintenance and repair. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and expert diagnostics on a variety of fleet equipment, including tractors and trailers, to minimize downtime and improve fleet reliability.

You must have medium/heavy-duty truck training or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and 2–3 years of fleet maintenance experience. ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, or 2-year schooling plus 1 year experience.
• Current and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment within planned time tolerances.
• Perform Annual (FAI/CVI) inspections on all fleet vehicles per regulations.
• Diagnose faults and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC and electrical systems to manufacturer specs.
• Follow documentation procedures on all work orders and use Sysco computer programs.
• Maintain safety standards and stay knowledgeable about DOT/FMCSA regulations.
