Job summary

SYSCO is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to provide safe, reliable and cost-efficient vehicle maintenance. You will perform preventive inspections and expert repairs, diagnose faults, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards to reduce downtime and improve fleet reliability.

You will handle inspections (Annual, CVI), diagnose a range of systems (engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC, brake), and document work orders while using Sysco computer programs.

Qualifications

• 2-year program and 1 year of experience or 3 years in fleet maintenance and repair.
• Current and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles within planned time tolerances to maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Perform Annual (FAI/CVI) inspections on all fleet vehicles per regulations.
• Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections per company methods on all fleet vehicles.
• Perform quality maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability across all fleet assets.
• Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups timely and efficiently.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications (engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, brakes, etc.).
• Document all work performed on work orders.
• Learn Sysco computer programs and use diagnostic equipment as required.
