Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Repair Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair our fleet to keep trucks safe and operational. The role supports heavy trucks and diesel engines, working Monday through Friday 2pm–12am at our Henry County IN campus.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair electrical, air, and brake systems, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety devices function correctly.

Qualifications

• Experience using repair manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot or repair vehicle or component failure.
• In-depth knowledge of truck components and systems preferred.
• Experience repairing and maintaining heavy trucks and diesel engines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles per maintenance schedules and DVIRs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Complete adjustments, repairs, and component replacements to vehicles and related systems.
