Job summary

Sysco Lincoln, Inc. seeks a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and expert repairs to keep delivery vehicles reliable.

You will diagnose, repair, and document work on tractors, trailers, and related equipment, with emphasis on electrical systems, engines, and drive trains. The role requires hands-on ability, valid CDL or driver’s license, and compliance with DOT and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment within planned time tolerances.
• Perform Annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on all fleet vehicles.
• Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections per company methods on all fleet vehicles.
• Perform quality maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability.
• Address all Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups timely and efficiently.
• Diagnose cause of malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Follow procedures including documenting all work performed on work orders.
• Learn and develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs.
• Proficient in electrical meter testing.
• Complete electrical repairs and welding projects as needed.
