Nextran Truck Centers is seeking an experienced Diesel Engine Technician to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty trucks in our Engine Shop. You will mentor teammates, help lead projects, and pursue continuous career growth.

Qualifications

• Diesel diagnostic experience required, 3–5+ years (10+ years preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED required; ASE certs a plus.
• Valid driver's license; CDL a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficiency with email, Outlook, Word, Excel; ability to learn diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines and related systems.
• Perform complete engine and transmission rebuilds.
• Complete preventative maintenance and major mechanical repairs.
• Document repairs and findings accurately and clearly.
• Mentor apprentices and lead projects when needed.
• Follow manufacturer procedures and dealership standards.
