Nextran Truck Centers is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician in Atlanta South (College Park), GA. You will diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty trucks, mentoring teammates and leading projects as needed.

Qualifications

• .High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5+ years of diesel diagnostic experience (10+ years preferred).
• Cummins Engine Repair Certification is required.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines and related systems.
• Perform complete engine and transmission rebuilds.
• Complete preventative maintenance and major mechanical repairs.
• Document repairs and diagnostic findings accurately.
• Communicate with Parts and Service teams to keep repairs on schedule.
• Identify additional maintenance or safety concerns for customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership standards.
• Stay current on OEM bulletins and industry best practices.
• Mentor apprentice technicians and help lead the team when needed.
