Nextran Truck Centers in Atlanta South (College Park), GA is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty trucks. You will work with a team that values quality craftsmanship and provides opportunities for mentoring teammates and leading projects.

The role involves diagnosing engines, performing major mechanical repairs, and documenting findings while staying current with OEM bulletins. A strong diagnostic background and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of diesel diagnostic experience (10+ years preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED required. CDL is a plus but not mandatory.
• ASE/Master Technician certifications are a plus; strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines and related systems.
• Perform complete engine and transmission rebuilds.
• Complete preventative maintenance and major mechanical repairs.
• Accurately document repairs and diagnostic findings.
• Communicate with Parts and Service teams to ensure repairs stay on schedule.
• Mentor apprentice technicians and help lead the team when needed.
