GFL Environmental, Inc. is seeking an experienced automotive technician to maintain and repair our Diesel and CNG fleet in Florida. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance under shop leadership, ensuring road-ready vehicles and compliance with safety standards.
The role requires 3+ years in diesel/CNG maintenance, knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations, and the ability to read technical documents. CDL is preferred or may be pursued within six months. ASE certification is a plus.
Competenze
- 3+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions.
- Experience with diagnostic software preferred.
- Class A or B CDL preferred, or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
- ASE certifications preferred.
Mansioni
- Diagnose, repair and maintain Diesel and CNG fleet.
- Perform brake, engine, emission, steering, and wheel component inspections.
- Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
- Perform electronic diagnostics and repair electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Complete DOT and brake inspections on vehicles.
- Complete reports and order parts as required.
- Maintain safe working conditions and comply with safety regulations.
