Job summary

Eastern Truck & Trailer in Ohio is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily diesel repair facility operations. You will lead technicians, service advisors, and staff, driving efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and customer service skills, with CDL being a plus. You will manage inventory, safety, and compliance while developing strategies to grow sales and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of management experience in a diesel repair, fleet maintenance, trucking, or heavy equipment environment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy-duty truck repair, and maintenance operations.
• Proven leadership and team-building skills.
• Experience managing budgets, shop performance, and financial reporting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day branch operations, including service, parts, and administrative functions.
• Lead, coach, and develop technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
• Ensure efficient workflow, productivity, and quality of repairs.
• Monitor shop performance, profitability, and KPIs.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
• Oversee hiring, scheduling, performance management, and employee development.
• Manage inventory, equipment, and facility maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop strategies to increase sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
