Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Branch service department and diesel technicians for efficient, profitable operation and customer satisfaction
• Set strategic and operational goals for the Branch service department
• Establish service department profit targets and monitor performance
• Coordinate communication between Service and other Branch departments
• Develop vendor relationships and manage warranties and service issues
• Ensure facility maintenance within budget and safety guidelines
• Prepare operating and capital budgets and report on branch metrics
• Hire, train, and evaluate service staff; conduct performance reviews
• Monitor productivity, implement process improvements, and drive continuous improvement
• Lead safety meetings, training, and adherence to applicable regulations
