Qualifications

• Three to five years heavy-duty truck service with supervisory experience preferred.
• Management skills include strategic planning, decision making and program implementation.

Responsibilities

• Establishes financial and operating objectives for the Branch service department.
• Prepares operating and capital budgets for the Branch service department, reviews regularly.
• Provides management information to the Executive Committee on service operations and market trends.
• Evaluates performance against targets and takes corrective action as needed.
• Interviews and hires diesel technicians and warranty staff; trains personnel as needed.
• Ensures shop personnel are properly trained and equipped; maintains tooling and equipment.
• Maintains customer relations and mediates solutions between parties involved.
