Job summary

Reliable Equipment & Service Co. in Bucks County, PA is seeking a Dielectric Testing Department Manager to oversee testing operations for electrical PPE used by utilities and contractors. You will manage daily department workflows and lead a team of technicians to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

You will maintain strict inventory accuracy, coordinate calibration and maintenance, review final reports, and drive safety and process improvements to meet quality standards (ASTM/OSHA).

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in shipping/receiving, procurement, or a laboratory setting, preferably rubber/polymers dielectric testing.
• 3–5+ years of experience in electrical lineman safety is a plus
• Proven track record of managing employees, scheduling, and developing a team
• Strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of testing standards and safety protocols is desirable

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily department workflows to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain 100% inventory accuracy for supplies, reagents, and materials; manage procurement within budget.
• Lead, mentor, and schedule lab technicians and support staff; oversee training and onboarding.
• Review final testing reports and ensure on-time client delivery; address discrepancies promptly.
