Fresenius Medical Care in Mission, TX seeks an entry-level Outpatient RN CAP 1 to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for an assigned patient group, coordinating with RN, LVN/LPN, and PCT staff as needed.

The role involves teaching patients and families, delivering hemodialysis therapy under supervision, and participating in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.
• Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.

Responsabilités

• Performs all essential functions under supervision and with guidance from Clinical Educator or RN leadership.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during pre, during, and post hemodialysis and updates the plan of care.
• Educates patient and family on care needs and treatment options.
• Delivers safe and effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administers medications per prescribed orders or approved algorithms and documents effectiveness.
