Job summary

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years in Nephrology Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure required.
• CPR/BLS certification required or in progress.
• Must meet state practice requirements and participate in CAP advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians as needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Provide patient/family education and support.
• Assist with emergency response and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Supervise and orient new staff as assigned.
