Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry‑level Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) Outpatient RN CAP 1. You will provide, coordinate, and document clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including dialysis planning and evaluation.

You will assess patient needs, educate families, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure safe hemodialysis delivery under supervision. Some travel may be required in this shared role.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current state RN licensure in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience recommended for progression in CAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group.
• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care during dialysis sessions.
• Document data collection and treatment plans in the medical record.
• Educate patient and family about care plans and treatment options.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective hemodialysis therapy.
• Perform duties under supervision and in collaboration with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and techs.
