Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Outpatient RN CAP 1 to support the Clinical Advancement Program. You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for an assigned patient group, coordinating with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians as needed.

The role emphasizes education, teamwork, and adherence to nursing practice standards within a dialysis setting. A valid RN license and CPR/BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience, 3 months in chronic/acute hemodialysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group during hemodialysis.
• Document data in the patient record and adjust treatment plan as needed.
• Educate patient and family and collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Administer medications as prescribed or by approved protocol and participate in emergency response.
