Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential nursing functions under supervision for a group of patients.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during pre-, during-, and post-dialysis and documents in medical record.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Delivers safe, effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with care staff.
• Administers prescribed medications and follows approved algorithms.
• Participates in emergency responses and staff training.
• Ensures proper lab collection processes and documents nursing assessments.
