Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care invites applications for an entry-level Registered Nurse, CAP 1, within the Clinical Advancement Program at our outpatient dialysis facility. You will provide and coordinate nephrology care, participate in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients, and collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and patient care technicians.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current appropriate state licensure.
Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and document in the patient medical record.
Adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team.
Educate patient and family about learning needs and care plans.
Direct and provide safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy for assigned patients.
Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
Assist with emergency response measures.
Serve as a resource for the health care team and participate in staff training.
