Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 role within the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for dialysis patients, document data, educate patients and families, and participate in continuous quality improvement activities.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active state licensure, and CPR/BLS certification; prior nephrology experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with active licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients during dialysis.
• Document patient data and adjust plans as needed in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans.
• Administer medications per orders and approved algorithms; monitor effectiveness.
