Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 track in North Carolina. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

As part of the ESKD health care team, you will participate in teaching, leadership, and quality-improvement activities, with opportunities to advance CAP requirements after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data pre-, during-, and post hemodialysis and document in the medical record.
• Adjust treatment plan as indicated and notify supervisor or physician as needed.
• Assess and educate patients and families on care and transplant options.
• Direct and provide safe, effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy with care staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document justification and effectiveness.
• Support staff training and orientation as assigned.
• Ensure proper lab collection, processing, and shipping procedures.
