Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States seeks an entry-level registered nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 designation. You will coordinate and provide clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for patients undergoing hemodialysis.

You will perform data collection, support education for patients and families, administer medications as prescribed, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe dialysis delivery.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Hemodialysis experience preferred.
• Current state licensure and CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data pre-during-post hemodialysis and document findings.
• Collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians to deliver care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and transplant considerations.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Respond to emergencies and support safe dialysis delivery.
