Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is hiring an Outpatient RN CAP 2 to join the End Stage Kidney Disease care team. This role oversees nursing care, coordinates with technicians, and participates in CAP progression.

The RN will perform assessments, develop care plans, and support quality improvement within the facility. Responsibilities include patient data collection during dialysis, education, medication administration, and emergency response support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
• Entry level for RNs with minimum of 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Performs essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from the Clinical Educator, Preceptor or other Registered Nurses.
• Performs ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data during hemodialysis and documents in the patient medical record, adjusting the plan as needed.
• Educates patients and family about learning needs and care.
• Directs and provides safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administers medications as prescribed and documents justification and effectiveness.
• Initiates or assists with emergency response measures.

Education
