Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. The role involves coordinating care for an assigned patient group within the End Stage Kidney Disease team, with responsibilities including assessment, planning, intervention, and education under supervision.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited nursing degree, valid state license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 9 months RN experience, including some dialysis exposure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current CPR BLS Certification.
• Must have a minimum of 9 months experience as an RN.
• Minimum of 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Performs all essential functions under supervision with guidance from the Clinical Educator, Preceptor or RN colleagues.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis sessions and documents in medical records.
• Delivers and documents education to patients/families about care plans.
• Administers medications as prescribed or per approved algorithms and documents justification.
