Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for a group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation under supervision.

You will collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, participate in quality improvement activities, and support transplantation and treatment modality education as part of the interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience is entry level for CAP1.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient data collection and analysis pre-during-post hemodialysis and documents in medical record.
• Delivers safe and effective hemodialysis therapy to assigned patients under supervision.
• Educates patients and families on learning needs and treatment plans.
• Administers medications per protocol and documents effectiveness.
• Participates in emergency response measures and supports team training.
