Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Saint Peters, Missouri seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse CAP 1 to join the Clinical Advancement Program. Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold current state licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments pre-, during-, and post-hemodialysis for assigned patients and documents in the medical record.
• Coordinates care and educates patients and families as part of the care plan.
• Administers prescribed medications and participates in emergency response when needed.
• Provides guidance to Patient Care Technicians and LVN/LPNs and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
