Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Saint Peters, MO is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 designation within the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). This role provides and coordinates clinically competent care across dialysis patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation under supervision.

You will participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities while collaborating with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential functions under supervision with guidance from educator or RN leadership.
• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and document in medical records.
• Provide education to patients and family about care plans.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy under supervision.
• Assist with emergency response measures and team training.
• Ensure proper lab collection and coordination of care with the interdisciplinary team.
