Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Professional Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. This role focuses on safe, coordinated care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, under supervision and with guidance from educators and leadership.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you will participate in education, leadership activities, and quality improvement efforts while completing CAP requirements to advance within the program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state where employed.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Coordinate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians as needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Initiate emergency response measures as required.
• Provide patient/family education and contribute to care planning.
