Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for dialysis patients in an outpatient setting, with opportunities to advance through the Clinical Advancement Program.

The role involves assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and collaboration with the health care team to improve patient outcomes. CPR/BLS, state licensure, and nursing degree required.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing and current state licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection and documentation for dialysis patients and adjust care plan as needed.
• Coordinate and deliver safe hemodialysis therapy under supervision.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and transplant options.
• Delegate tasks to direct care staff as appropriate and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate records, participate in quality improvement activities, and respond to emergencies.
