Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Diagnostic Sonographer to join our float pool, based at WestHealth with coverage across multiple clinics in Minnesota. The role supports abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular imaging and interventional guidance, with a 0.6 FTE schedule and weekday coverage.

The position requires ARDMS registration or eligibility and 3+ years of ultrasound experience, with mileage reimbursement and a starting bonus for eligible external talent.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's or Vocational degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
• Graduates from a 2-year Diagnostic Ultrasound program or Radiologic Technology with ARDMS registration/eligibility.
• 3+ years of Diagnostic Sonography experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, vascular imaging and assists interventional procedures.
• Identifies patient with two identifiers and documents procedure details.
• Maintains equipment knowledge, ensures images are properly transferred and stored.
• Documents post-procedure information accurately and communicates with the team.
• Supports multi-site imaging coverage and adheres to department policies.

Education

Associate's or Vocational degree from an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound

2 year School of Diagnostic Ultrasound or ARDMS registered/registry eligible

3+ years Diagnostic Sonography experience
